Thank you so much for your prayers for my Dad.
This has been an extremely difficult journey for him and for my mom, but God is faithful.
We are beginning to see progress in Dad's recovery. He still has challenges ahead of him but we can see progress.
Dad is still dealing with reduced heart function. The good news is that his body seems to be finding a way to compensate for this decreased function. Please pray for improved heart function.
His last PET Scan showed no recurrence of the cancer. PRAISE GOD!!!
The days ahead for him consist of regaining strength. This can be a huge challenge.
Please pray for him as he works hard to get strength back in his legs.
We pray for the day that he can walk freely and confidently.
Please also pray for my mom - for her health, for strength and for a refreshed spirit.

We have recently learned that St. Stephens/LIttle York Baptist Church is going to honor my dad on Sunday, May 1 in the 8:00 a.m. service to celebrate his 60 years of ministry. The address is 611 E. Little York, Houston, TX.
I will post more details on this blog very soon. If you are available we would love to see you on Sunday, May 1 to celebrate my dad and his ministry.
God is so good; He has Bro Bob right in the palm of His mighty hand. Thanks for the update. I will be at the St. Stephens celebration. This has been a long, healing process, but God is faithful to answer prayers!
