Chemo Cycle #4

Today Dad received his fourth round of chemo... only 2 more to go!
Because of the severe pain in the last cycle, he will not receive the bone marrow booster shot for this cycle. We are praying that this will make this cycle an easier one for him. Please pray for protection of his immune system - no fevers or infections.
We also received great news from his PET Scan. It appears that the tumor is gone!!!! Praise God!
We appreciate your continued prayers for my Dad and for his complete healing. Please feel free to email him or send him a card via snail mail.

The tumor is gone? Praise God!!! This is a huge answer to prayer!!! The Lord is so awesome!!!

About My Parents

My mom and dad have been married for 57 years. They have served the Lord together for almost all of those years.

Dad has served as Pastor of many churches during those years. He continues, even now, to serve at St. Stephens Baptist Church, Little York Campus as Campus Pastor.

He also leads a Sunday Night Bible Study at First Baptist Church, Magnolia.

As you can see, retirement does not mean that he steps away from teaching God's Word.

They have 5 children, a house full of grandchildren and great-grand children who adore them.

They love family more than anything in this earthly life.

They have given to us a true legacy of love and commitment to each other and to the Lord that they serve.
